When the dodo became extinct, a tree called Calvaria also became extinct. This plant species relied on the dodo to spread its seeds. Dodo would feed on the plant fruit and together with its poop, out came the seeds and a new tree would grow from the poop. The seed remain intact because the dodo could not digest it. Once the dodo was gone, so was the Calvaria tree.
